Members of the 2nd Virginia Cavalry Co. C along with members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) Fincastle Rifles, and United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) Jubal Early Chapter offer lliving history presentations for local schools, Boy and Cub Scout Troops, and other educational and historical groups.

June 4th, 2007, members of the 2nd Virginia Cavalry Co. C, Fincastle Rifles, Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) and United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), present a cavalry demonstration and history presentation to 5th and 6th graders from Rockbridge County. Over 400 students attended the one day event hosted by the Virginia Horse Center and Southern States.
