2nd Virginia Cavalry Co. C – Roster
Company C, the "Botetourt Dragoons," was enrolled at Fincastle, Va. on
May 17, 1861 and sworn into state service on May 20 in Lynchburg, Va.
Captain Andrew L. Pitzer, of V.M.I. led the troops.
